EU Sustainable Energy Week

Project coordinator Enrico Biele (ENEA) represented LEAP4SME at EU Sustainable Energy week, as part of the session ‘Boosting the uptake of energy efficiency and renewable energy measures in SMEs across Europe.’

The session was organised by TNO and the H2020 funded project GEAR@SME and aimed to discuss the challenges of increasing the uptake of energy efficiency and renewable energy measures at SMEs and reducing their energy dependence in a changing energy market.

The main topics in the agenda were saving energy through collective approaches (Marit Sprenkeling, TNO), learning programmes (Stefan Cirstea, TUCN), energy policies in SMEs (Enrico Biele, ENEA) and benefits of energy efficiency investments (Catherine Cooremans, UNIL). The event was moderated by A. Brüning Pfeiffer of the Berlin Energy Agency (BEA) with speeches from Karina Veum, and Suzanne Brunsting from TNO.

The session was held online at 16:30 on 21 September.
