The role of energy audits in unlocking energy saving measures

Energy Saving Trust presented their understanding of SME energy audit standardisation in the UK and discussed the need for a common approach to energy audits in the SME sector.

This session was an opportunity to learn about the energy audit voucher scheme managed by Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland (SEAI) and to inform a discussion on incentivising audits.

Energy Saving Trust also shared the preliminary results from their latest research on behavioural changes required to stimulate uptake of energy audits and energy efficiency measures among SMEs.
