LEAP4SME is aiming to support Member States in establishing or improving effective policies for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to undergo energy audits and implement cost-effective, recommended energy-saving measures.
Over the past 8 months, the 10 LEAP4SME partners have finalised project preparations and initiated research activities – all working towards the goal of helping make Europe more energy efficient.
We are online!
The project website and social media channels launched in 2020 and are the places to go for updates about the project and for news about energy efficiency in Europe.
The LEAP4SME project has been presented at seventeen national and international events focusing on increasing energy efficiency.
BEHAVE Conference 2021
LEAP4SME hosted a special session with speakers from around Europe. The session, Behavioural Insights and Barriers for Energy Policies in Enterprises, was moderated by Enrico Biele (ENEA) and Kerstin Schilcher (AEA).
The project was originally under EASME, which has since become EISMEA.
SME Support Centre
The Green Industry Platform has launched the beta version of its dedicated SME Support Centre, a user-friendly online portal to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) develop a resource efficiency strategy and implement specific actions.
