Energy audits and energy efficiency: focus on energy intensive SMEs in Europe

LEAP4SME Event

Online

The workshop focused on the role of energy audits and energy efficiency policies in energy intensive-SMEs. Speakers from CINEA, national authorities, and three senior representatives of energy-intensive European business associations (chemical, foundry and copper industries) tackled the topic from different angles and provided suggestions for improving the policy making and the implementation cycle for energy-intensive SMEs.

The session was organised by the LEAP4SME Consortium, which is comprised of the official national energy agencies of Austria, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, and United Kingdom. LEAP4SME is funded by H2020.

The online event took place on October 11, 2021, from 12:00-13:30 CET.

This workshop is organised as an extended programme session within the EU Sustainable Energy Week.
